Although marriage is likened to God and the Church, human marriage is not perfect and does not always work out. I myself was divorced and had some hard times. At first, I thought God was mad at me and I stopped all fellowship with God and other people. It took some time, but things did change and I felt the love of God drawing me back. Don't give up. God restores and in time I found a new partner who has been my wife for 31 years now. Divorce is not the end. Although I believe we can cut off fellowship with God out of depression or guilt, God never leaves us. Things will improve, whether with your previous spouse or another person who will make you very happy.

Done with religion does not mean done with God, but done with religious traditions. We post articles weekly about living for God outside the walls of religion.
