Hi Joseph, I agree, scripture is there for the purpose of teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). All I am saying is the bible itself cannot do those things without the guidance of the Holy Spirit bringing to light the truth that is within the writings. Thanks for your comment.
