Thank you Mark for your comment. It is horrible the way many churches treat their brothers and sisters in Christ who are gay. Following Jesus is supposed to be about loving others, not judging and condemning. I have read several books recently on the topic of the 'clobber passages' and found there are many other interpretations based on the times and customs that make more sense in regard to this topic, such as the one you mentioned about hospitality. It is sad that churches do not teach these other views. I do know there are some churches that are totally welcoming and fully accepting and I hope you will find one soon if you are still looking for fellowship. Thanks so much for your comment.
